Staten Island Republican Party Seeks Prospective Candidates for Upcoming Elections

Today, the Richmond County Republican Committee (SIGOP) issued the following statement inviting prospective candidates interested in receiving the party’s endorsement to run for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Comptroller, Attorney General, State Senate, State Assembly, Surrogate Court Judge and Supreme Court Justice to contact Chairman Brendan Lantry to arrange an interview with the SIGOP Executive Committee:

“In addition to re-electing our outstanding Congressman Dan Donovan, the Staten Island Republican Party is determined to field a formidable slate of candidates for our statewide and local races on the ballot this year,” said Brendan Lantry, Chairman of the Staten Island Republican Committee. “We encourage anyone interested in receiving our party’s nomination for statewide office, State Senate, or State Assembly, as well as any attorneys interested in running for State Supreme Court Justice or Surrogate Court Judge, to contact us as soon as possible to set up an interview with our party’s Executive Committee.”

Individuals who are interested in running for statewide office, State Senate, State Assembly, Supreme Court Judge, or Surrogate Court Judge should e-mail Republican Party Chairman Brendan Lantry at [email protected] to express interest. Eligible/qualified candidates will then be contacted to schedule an interview with the party’s Executive Committee. The SIGOP plans to conduct its candidate interviews in early May.
