Staten Island Republican Party Endorses Matthew Blum for NYC Civil Court

The Staten Island Republican Party has endorsed Matthew Blum as its candidate for Judge of the New York City Civil Court.

Mr. Blum is running to fill a seat that will become vacant at the end of 2019 when current Acting Justice of the Supreme Court Barbara Panepinto faces mandatory retirement.

Matthew is a former Assistant District Attorney in the offices of District Attorneys William L. Murphy and Daniel M. Donovan, Jr.  Since he left the District Attorney’s office in 2009, Matt has been an attorney in private practice, working in the areas of family law and criminal defense.  He is a graduate of Tottenville High School, The State University of New York at Albany, and Brooklyn Law School.  Matthew resides in Westerleigh with his wife, Victoria. Matthew is also a member in good standing of the Richmond County Bar Association and the Women’s Bar Association.
